Person in charge checklist

Taking charge of a site in the event of a fire isn’t something that should be carried out without the appropriate knowledge. To assist you, use our person in charge checklist. It provides details of what your training should cover.

What’s covered?

Whoever you nominate as your person in charge will need to know exactly what their role entails. Their training should involve specific job duties, how to deal with staff and, most importantly, site-specific information such as details of any alarm systems.

Our one-page checklist covers the general role of the person in charge and the knowledge they should gain in order to undertake the role. Secondly, it covers their role during a fire alarm.
