Nuisance log - to be completed by complainant

Nuisance log - to be completed by complainant

If neighbouring activities are causing disruption to your business, you might consider raising a formal complaint of statutory nuisance. Use our document to log your experiences.

Cause for complaint

Statutory nuisances are covered by the Environmental Protection Act 1990 so your local council is obliged to follow up your complaint, but they will need sufficient information to make their assessment. Our document Nuisance Log - To Be Completed by Complainant has been produced for you to record this information, ready to be passed to the council when required.

Use it to record details of nuisances such as noise, smells, pests, smoke and artificial lighting.
